Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAfter the substandard 2019, Meyer Pinot Noir's white label is back on track. It is an entry-level pinot over-delivers for its price, boasting fruit from Okanagan Falls, Kaleden, and Naramata. In 2020 it was fermented on its native yeasts and spent a mere eight months in neutral French oak. As a result, the nose is lightly aromatic and stuffed with the perfect amount of plummy black and red fruit dusted in brown spice and enveloped in a soft robe of tannins that slide down effortlessly. Stock up. Simple, delicious and well priced.Tasted: 27 October 2021Tasted by: Prices:
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis white label Meyer Pinot Noir is their entry PN, with fruit off vineyards in Okanagan Falls (their home McLean Creek Road), as well as Kaleden and Naramata. This was native fermented, and then rested 8 months in neutral French oak. Perfumed plum, blackberry, mulled cherry fill a lightly spiced, softer palate, with nice toasty spicing framing with lightly sticky tannins, finishing with a dusting of baking spice. A friendly pinot for cracking now.Tasted: 13 November 2021Tasted by: Prices:
