Meyer Family Vineyards Pinot Noir McLean Creek Road Vineyard 2020

Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMcLean Creek Road Vineyard is the organically farmed home block at Meyer Vineyard, grown over a mix of sandy loam and deep gravels and a mix of clones: Pommard (91) and Dijon (114, 115, 667, 777). It is wild fermented and aged 11 months in 25 percent new French oak. Spicy, full-flavoured New World styling with aromatic Damson plums on a long soft, textured finish, this is not terribly complex but very much a crowd-pleaser. I like it with salmon steak, mushroom pasta, or almost any pork dish. Drink now or through 2027.Tasted: 27 August 2022Tasted by: Prices:
