Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPunchy pink grapefruit, guava, fuzzy peach gummies in this potent, pine/sage flecked sauvignon blanc, one lined with a fine lining of creamy lees. Approximately 20 percent of the wine spends time in oak and concrete (split about 50/50) while the remainder spends time on its lees in stainless steel. Tropical, ripe and assertive, this requires something equally potent to match: think fragrant seafood or veg curries.Tasted: 13 December 2017Tasted by: Prices:

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis reserve tier sauvignon blanc has moved up another notch this year in quality aided and abetted by multiple pick times that bring an even fresher tone to the wine. Some 20 percent of the wine spends time in oak and concrete (split about 50/50) while the balance remains on its lees in stainless steel. The oak and concrete portion builds texture while the stainless-steel share maintains that zesty lemony freshness. Look for a beautiful tropical fruit nose that previews a much tighter lemongrass, lime palate that finishes creamy with dried herbs and sagebrush pushing through. Super value here in a sophisticated sauvignon blanc. Impressive value. Shellfish anyone?Tasted: 21 July 2017Tasted by: Prices:
