Mission Hill Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2015
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis reserve tier sauvignon blanc was sourced from Mission Hill's estate vineyards in Osoyoos and on Black Sage Bench. Twenty percent was fermented in French oak, where it remained for six months but you wont notice it. This is tropical in style with mandarin, passion fruit and lime blossom on a light, creamy, bright palate (a welcome 13 percent alcohol). Ginger spicing seasons the zesty almost watery finish. A nice blend of New World tropical, Old World structure and Okanagan purity; well done.Tasted: 20 February 2017Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Treve RingPrices:BC | $20.49 | 750ml | BCLS |
