Fort Berens Riesling 2016
Lillooet, British Columbia, CanadaFort Berens now produces two rieslings: the ‘Classic’ carries 6.7 g/l RS and 7.6 g/l TA, as opposed to the new 'Dry Riesling' sitting at 4.6 g/l RS and 8 g/l TA. Estate Lillooet grapes were blended with Vernon and Similkameen grapes, and fertilized with a mix of numerous yeasts for a cold, slow ferment. Ripe red apples, perfumed pear blossoms are tightened on the finish with a citrus twist. More dialled in than previous attempts; make some room on the patio for this sipper all summer.Tasted: 04 July 2017Tasted by: Treve Ring & Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $18.40 | 750ml | winery direct, VQA shops |
