Fort Berens Pinot Noir 2014
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMuch like the previous edition, this Lillooet pioneer pinot mixes five clones from the home vineyard, yielding spicy, raspberry, cherry, strawberry jam aromas to entice. The palate is refined with more juicy black raspberry, black cherry fruit and a red fruit/pomegranate undercurrent. Finesse and length, which is hard to do, points to a lot of promise for this variety moving forward as the vineyard matures.Tasted: 15 December 2016Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Treve RingPrices:BC | $25.99 | 750ml | winery direct, VQA shops |
