Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLightly perfumed black cherry, perfumed raspberry and earth aromas open this Lillooet pinot, a blend of five clones grown in their estate vineyard. Sweet strawberry jam, juicy plum and pomegranate dominate the medium bodied palate, propped up by structured, fine tannins and finishing with finely rasped cinnamon bark. Nice length and flow. Pour alongside planked salmon or pork chops.Tasted: 12 April 2015Tasted by: Prices:

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe pinot noir benefits from the winery's light hands throughout production. Look for juicy red fruit style with a touch of tannin as Fort Berens seeks out the Lillooet style. The 2012 is already in bottle but not yet released and is resting at the winery where it will no doubt fatten up a bit over the summer. The attack is juicy if lean with cherry, coffee, vanilla, celery flavours that finish dry and clean. Perfect for grilled salmon steak.Tasted: 25 July 2014Tasted by: Prices:
