Burrowing Owl Pinot Noir 2013

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis wine has seen time in both French and Hungarian oak, a spice cabinet of cedar wood, subtle hickory and fine sandalwood seasoning the ripe cherry, strawberry and boysenberry pie flavour. Ripe and round, with potent steak spice and fragrant cloves and cinnamon punching up the velvety mouthfeel and adding to the up-front wood notes. Not a shy pinot noir, and a good match to rustic cedar planked salmon or Moroccan spiced lamb or eggplant dishes.Tasted: 25 May 2015Tasted by: Prices:
