Burrowing Owl Pinot Noir 2003

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaCompost, leaf, black cherry, minty, maraschino, vanilla, cola licorice aromas and quite hot. Dry, rich, somewhat tannic and tight palate. Good rootsy, black cherry, minty, vanilla, leafy forest floor and rhubarb flavours. Elegant styling but too hot and compost-y at this point with some dry, tight tannins on the finish. Needs a year or two to settle down.Tasted: 20 January 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
