Burrowing Owl Pinot Noir 2002

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSmoky, spicy clove, black cherry jam, reduced barnyard aromas and a touch hot. Restrained and slightly dry with light tannins and fine balance. Ripe black cherry, smoky, spicy, licorice flavours with buttery vanilla bitter almond aftertaste. Slightly volatile but definitely pinot. Drink now or over the next year or so.Tasted: 11 July 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
