Fort Berens Riesling 2013
British Columbia, CanadaOne of the grapes they are betting on at For Berens is riesling and at the 2014 Lieutenant Governor's Award for Excellence in British Columbia Wines the 2012 vintage was tagged one of the best in the competition. The latest version 2013 is 100 percent estate grown. Love the fresh, orchard peach pear apple nose with just a hint of stony minerality on the palate. Clean fresh and ripe; if there is any criticism ait finishes a bit short. Try this with spicy Thai or Indian dishes to best effect.Tasted: 25 July 2014Tasted by: Prices:BC | $18.00 | 750ml | vqa, private wine stores, winery direct |
