Torres Mas La Plana 2009
Penedès, Catalunya (Catalonia Cataluña), SpainTasted twice in six months. Fresh floral, cassis, black berry, vanilla nose with liquorice, five spice and balsamic aromas. The attack is full, round and dry with freshness and some youthful, fine-grained tannins. Much more refinement here than in the previous decade with bright cassis, cedar, tobacco, black berry, black olive and dried herb flavours.
