Quails' Gate Stewart Family Reserve Pinot Noir 2012

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaDark cherry colour. Slightly reduced nose with lees, rhubarb, mushroom, maraschino cherry and candied strawberry aromas. The attack is dry and fresh, the textures round with light, grainy tannins. The palate is a mix of cherries, compost, tobacco, celery salt and tea leaf flavours. Solid but really needs a bit more fruit to live up to its pinot noir moniker. Give it two to four more years to mature in bottle for best results.Tasted: 26 March 2014Tasted by: Prices:
