Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesLong Shadows is a collective of sorts, with each wine in the portfolio made by a different winemaker. The difference here is that the winemakers are among the world's most iconic wine names, like Michel Rolland and John Duval. Sequel is made with Duval (ex-Penfolds, and maker of Grange for many years). Full bodied and silky, with dark chocolate, blackberry, perfumed florals, vanilla pod throughout the lush palate. Tannins are ample, but downy soft, to a sweet, cool mint finish. This is a lush, polished, but elegant red. Drinkable solo, but will match rare beef or lamb very well.Tasted: 08 February 2017Tasted by: Prices:

Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesSpicy, coffee, mocha, blackberry jam, vanilla, cedar, licorice, meaty, black pepper and cedar aromas. Ripe, rich, full, smooth and suave palate with light tannins. Very peppery, clove, vanilla, mocha, black olive, licorice, sausage meat, blackberry jam, Christmas cake and tobacco flavours. Very warm but suave and savoury with finesse. An attractive very hedonistic style of shiraz.Tasted: 29 September 2014Tasted by: Prices:
