Painted Rock Cabernet Sauvignon 2011
Skaha Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAnother lees than generous vintage has yield a smoky, tobacco, green olive, green bean nose with cassis, saddle leather, coffee, resin and leafy aromas. Dry and lean with some youthful tannins at this point but still juicy. Dusty herbs, savoury cassis, coffee, smoky, tobacco leaf flavours. More elegant style but on the acidic side and will require two to three years to fatten up a bit and smooth out. Best with roasted meats at this point.Tasted: 05 May 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $40.00 | 750ml | winery direct, private wine shops |
