M. Chapoutier Hermitage Chante Alouette Blanc 2010

Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceInviting almond, quince, and floral, apricot nose with an undercurrent of lees, honey, baked pear, and vanilla and nut aromas. The attack is juicy and fresh; the palate slightly oily with a hint of salt. More orange, apricot, honey, butter, ginger, floral guava flavours mark the palate. Fine concentration and texture with a warm but persistent and juicy aftertaste. Very fine effort to drink now or in 10 years.Tasted: 29 July 2012Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
