Joseph Drouhin Cote de Beaune Rouge 2009
Côte de Beaune, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceMeaty, smoky, light barnyard, tobacco, compost aromas with a touch of strawberry and spice. Dry, fresh, juicy palate but a bit austere with some light cedary tannins. Spicy, raspberry, peppery, meaty, leather, tobacco, rooty, orange and herb flavours. A simple wine that lacks tannin ripeness for the vintage. May improve with a year or two in bottle.Tasted: 18 February 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $40.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
