Joseph Drouhin Cote de Beaune Rouge 2008
Côte de Beaune, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceThe colour is light but the nose open and spicy with bits of raspberry and black cherry fruit and a wisp of barnyard. The palate is soft and the textures smooth with more red fruits and fine acidity. Fine harmony here and should do well with an assortment of lightly seasoned foods. Only 12 15 months in 10 percent new oak.Tasted: 02 June 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $36.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
