Tuscany, ItalyModus is a 50/25/25 blend of sangiovese/merlot and cabernet sauvignon from Ruffino's Montemasso, Poggio Casciano and Santedame estate. Traditionally rich and savoury with spicy, olive gamey notes on the nose this edition appears slightly cooler and tight. The attack is a mix of savory black fruit and forest floor nuances with bits of coffee, vanilla and chunky tannins in the back end.
