Santa Lucia, Pisa, Tuscany, ItalyMonte Antico is a proprietary label of Italian wine distributors Neil & Maria Empson. A sangiovese with minor amounts of merlot and cabernet sauvignon it has a peppery, tobacco, meaty, black olive, weedy nose. The palate is dry and elegant; a light-bodied style with fresh acidity and more earthy, meaty, tobacco, cherry, prune, rooty, clove flavours.
