Burrowing Owl Pinot Gris 2010
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBurrowing Owl has made a subtle and welcomed change to its 2010 pinot gris. The style is much crisper with mineral, tangerine citrus notes on the nose and palate. There's a hint of sweetness covered with lees, lemons, grass and grapefruit in the finish. It is tracking in the food-friendly direction extending its use to more than the summer. Try this with halibut and a fruit salsa.Tasted: 03 October 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $20.00 | 750ml | winery direct |
