Burrowing Owl Pinot Gris 1998

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLovely clean ripe nose with flavours of mineral, honey and peach with some floral overtones. Quite a complex bouquet for a young wine. Big, ripe pinot gris style. Very pure with lovely oak integration, just a touch of vanilla and butter in the finish. Extremely stylish. In less than two years BOV has set a standard for pinot gris that could easily be interpreted as an international benchmark. Incredible value too when compared to Oregon and Alsace.Tasted: 01 September 1999Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
