Burrowing Owl Pinot Gris 1999

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPleasant green apple and butter notes on the nose with a lot less oak. Very dry and crisp at this point with a big mineral citrus lemon flavours. Quite departure in style from BOV's initial release less California more Alsace. Leaner with less ripe fruit. Will be a standout in restaurants with food.Tasted: 01 September 2000Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
