Penfolds Cabernet Shiraz Bin 389 2008
South Australia, AustraliaThe 08 Bin 389 has a warm aromatic nose scented with plums, blueberries, capsicum as they say Down Under and coffee and vanilla. The palate is awash in sweet fruit soft round and easy slipping down the gullet. The fruit is rich, still with some acid pushing back, but the oak, black pepper, tobacco and youthful cherry vanilla fruit soothes the finish. Impressive and clearly this wine has been upgraded.
