Quails' Gate Pinot Noir 2007

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSpicy, carrot, herbal, rooty, tobacco leaf, rhubarb, cranberry aromas. Round, delicate, supple, dry palate but a tad lean. Rhubarb, resin, carrot, herbal, compost, soy, cranberry. Good texture and balance but finish is a bit too tart and herbal for what people are looking for in pinot at $25. An order of duck confit would be the answer here.Tasted: 06 September 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
