Pétales d'Osoyoos 2004

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA year plus on now, this wine has substantially improved. Smoky, peppery, coffee, black olive, prune, tobacco leaf, cedar aromas lead to a dry, round, smooth and supple palate. Tobacco, coffee, black cherry jam, licorice, herbal, prune and smoke flavours. Shows good finesse and ready to drink but will hold or improve for 2-3 years. Very encouraging for what is essentially a second label.Tasted: 07 January 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
