Insoglio del Cinghiale 2004

Bolgheri, Tuscany, ItalyDeep black cherry colour. Iodine, meaty, peppery, black cherry, cardamom, smoky, briar nose with a touch of garrigue. Rich, round, supple but dry and balanced with good acidity. Very spicy, meaty, vanilla, sage and tobacco flavours with a bit of black olive and green bean on the finish. A touch rustic but has good fruit and structure. Will improve over the next few years. Well done.Tasted: 13 June 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
