Sonoma County, California, United StatesMany believe 2002 is a better vintage than 2001 in California; the '01 Rodney Strong cab bears out such thinking. The nose is an enticing mix of black fruits and coffee with a strong cherry/vanilla aftertaste. The textures are rich and soft with plenty of ripe cassis and vanilla in the finish.
