Sonoma County, California, United StatesA fine 2001 California red with a cedar/spicy, peppery, black cherry, vanilla nose with streaks of cola and shoe leather. Soft, round, elegant palate with very light, grainy tannins on entry. Nice spicy, smoky leather, peppery, cassis, black cherry flavours with a resiny, vanilla, cassis finish.
