Tantalus Old Vines Riesling 2023

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAnother superb iteration of this Okanagan benchmark. From vines planted in 1978, Tantalus Old Vine Riesling continues to set the standard year on year. The nose is intriguing and layered with lemon zest, honeysuckle, jasmine, and lime blossom woven through crushed stone minerality and the variety's hallmark whisper of petrol. On the palate, dryish with just a touch of sweetness, taut and precise, with real depth operating in perfect balance. The acidity is electric, the length impressive. Complete and genuinely delicious now, yet with the structure and concentration to reward years of cellaring.Tasted: 25 March 2026Tasted by: HJ ChaPrices:
