Golden Mile Bench, Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is a young, boisterous red with a smoky nose, cassis, and bay leaf. The palate is thick, dry, and tannic, with smoky, peppery, garrigue in the finish. The fruit is not evident, and it seems unlikely to be a factor in what was a warm, smoke-filled year in the south Okanagan. We look forward to the 2022 version.
