Culmina Family Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
Golden Mile Bench, Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAt this stage the first ever release of cabernet sauvignon is showing some awkward youthful edge of most of its key ingredients. The nose is a mix of savoury medicinal scents with cedar, spice and smoke. The entry is polished and round but the tannins build up quickly and dominate the cassis fruit. The finish is somewhat acidic which accentuates the tannins. Time is required in the bottle for this variety to soften up and settle down. Serve now with a grilled, well-marbled steak.Tasted: 05 July 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $31.00 | 750ml | winery direct |
