Clos de los Siete 2021
Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaMichel Rolland, a world renowned consultant and Bordeaux winemaker, partnered with several Bordeaux families in the early 2000s to develop seven vineyards on 2,000 acres in the Uco Valley of Mendoza. The plan was to produce a volume "ambassador" wine made with fruit from across the project of small chateaux that Rolland would blend each year. Today, Clos de los Siete has evolved into a comprehensive blend where malbec leads at 55-60%, followed by merlot, cabernet sauvignon, syrah, petit verdot and cabernet franc. The styling of this elegant, polished red is classic Bordeaux. The texture is as expected, smooth and silky, with powerful dark fruit reflecting the terroir of the Uco and the restraint of French winemaking. It is another wine you can enjoy now or age for a decade. Great value.Tasted: 03 December 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:| BC | $29.99 | 750ml | BCLS |
