Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Bourgogne's Passe-tout-grains tradition of blending pinot noir and gamay comes this popular lighter JoieFarm red. In 2023 they blended 56% pinot noir with 44% gamay, with fruit coming off the Naramata and Skaha Benches. Each was partially native fermented whole berry over 2 weeks before heading to neutral barrel for 10 months. Black plum, boysenberry, and blueberries are seasoned with smoked stones and brightened with an easy cool acidity, streaming this through a pink peppercorn finish. Tannins are sticky, pinning this in place for an appropriate soy / hoisin sauced pairing.Tasted: 08 November 2025Tasted by: Prices:

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe flagship Joie blend is a little-known French blend tagged PTG (or passe-tout-grains), which is a copy of an old Burgundian blend featuring pinot noir and gamay. The nose is a big hit of spice and red cherries that pulls you into the glass. The attack is round and soft, the fruit is juicy with more spice and persistence through the finish. The fruit is perfectly balanced by a dusting of earth and silky pinot tannins. Friendly and gulpable; be careful.Tasted: 14 September 2025Tasted by: Prices:
