Tantalus Blanc de Noir 2022
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaHand picked from a single estate block of 1985 planted clone 93 Pinot Noir, this vintage saw a small addition of estate pinot meunier for the first time. All was fermented in older puncheons over 7 months prior to moving to bottle and 22 months sur lattes. It was disgorged in February 2025 with a dosage from their 2022 Maija Pinot Noir, bringing the RS to 4.1 g/L. Pouring a just barely there peach tint, this brisk, dry, and structured sparkler streams wild cherry, tayberry, peach fuzz, over a bed of river stones, finishing with snappy cherry blossoms.
