Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Blanc de Noir is handpicked from a single block of Clone 93 Pinot Noir planted in 1985. Tantalus aptly describes the colour as "pale sunset pink." The attack is super fresh with scents of red apple skin and freshly picked raspberries. The palate takes you down a tart road that mixes cranberries, green apple, early cherries, flecked with beets and savoury, stony, mineral notes. As the wine warms up in the glass, the creamy, leesy notes help to tone down the acidity and smooth out the finish.Tasted: 05 May 2023Tasted by: Prices:
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaHand picked from a single estate block of 1985 planted clone 93 Pinot Noir, this was fermented in older puncheons over 7 months prior to moving to bottle and 22 months sur lattes. It was disgorged in March 2023 with a dosage from their 2020 Pinot Noir, bringing the RS to 7.46 g/L. Wild cherry, wild raspberry, meringue is tinged with crushed stone and kissed with subtle smoke along the streaming, structural, and finessed palate. Quite striking.Tasted: 17 June 2023Tasted by: Prices:
