Tommasi Valpolicella Ripasso 2020
Veneto, ItalyThis comes across as a fresher, juicier style of Ripasso. 12-13 days on Amarone skins has added weight and richness to the blend of corvina (70%), rondinella (25%), and corvinone (5%), with an impressively suave, silky palate. There's not a lot of dried fruit character, and arguably this wine is all the better as a result. You can expect ripe red cherry lifted by violets and sweet spices, with a real sense of Valpolicella.
