Tommasi Valpolicella Ripasso 2007
Veneto, ItalyMost know by now that the ripasso system supercharges this Valpolicella with a re-ferment on Amarone skins. This is a big wine in 2007 with a spicy, smoky, nose flecked with plums and gamy notes. The flavours are rich and warm and packed full of more spicy liquorice, black fruit and plums all with a soft round savoury fruit finish.
