The label is unique, held together with a wax seal, inviting you to open and view illustrations by young Florentine artists hidden within. This sangiovese is splashed with 10% merlot, coming off the Cornia and Caggiolo vineyards' clay, limestone, and albarese. This aged one year in small French barrels, 50% new. Fragrant wild cherries, black raspberries rule this elegant and finessed red, threaded with scrubby herbs, supple leather, and flake salt.
