Unsworth Vineyards Pinot Noir 2022

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaFrom their Cowichan estate vineyard's hillside blocks, this was fermented in stainless before resting in French barrels (15% new) for 15 months. Pretty and perfumed with wild plum and raspberries, this is scented with an alluring herbal scrub, and lifted with effortless acidity. Tannins are fine and long, guiding this delicate and finessed pinot to a lingering stony, saline finish. Much going on for its 12.1%, this expressive pinot is one to seek out.Tasted: 13 August 2024Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
