Unsworth Vineyards Pinot Noir 2014

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaSix months down the road from our first look, this Island pinot noir remains an enticing wine of cedar, black raspberry and spice on the nose. The attack is silky and light, true Cowichan Valley (another reason why we need sub-appellations now). A clean ferment in stainless is followed by sixteen months in new and used French oak leaving a quiet, elegant, floral, red fruited pinot with silky demeanour. Simply prepared wild salmon is the match.Tasted: 15 December 2016Tasted by: Prices:
