Unsworth Vineyards Pinot Noir 2021

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaSourced from 3 Cowichan Valley vineyards (Saison, Unsworth, and Zanatta), this was destemmed, whole berry, with minimal punchdowns, and fermentation in stainless. Post-ferment this is pressed off into barriques, primarily older. Shaped by the Wine Islands' tart marine acidity, this lighter (12.3%), tighter pinot streams fresh raspberries, rasped pink peppercorn along a sleek frame, housed with long, lithe tannins to a saline finish. Pretty smart, and ready for drinking now, with raw salmon or mushroom canapés.Tasted: 02 October 2023Tasted by: Prices:
