Henry of Pelham Speck Family Reserve Pinot Noir 2019

Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaFruit for this Speck Family Reserve Pinot Noir comes off Block 100 on the Old Farm, with plantings begun in 1984, and soils of silty clays. This clone 667 fruit was destemmed and fermented in stainless, before aging in European oak (30% new) over 10 months. Tart black and red fruits open this cushy, perfumed medium bodied pinot, with darts of violets and a lingering wild blackberry on the finish.
