Pelee Island, Ontario, CanadaThis youthful pinot was 50% French and European barrel aged for 6 months. It presents quite disjointed, with very tart black fruit and dark cocoa up against a pad of residual sugar, resulting in a pasty, short finish, with a bit of a spritz.
