It is home to the oldest vines farmed at Ridge, now more than 130 years of age. Geyserville is a traditional field blend of zinfandel and its complementary varieties: carignane, petite sirah, and mataro (mourvèdre), and every vintage mix is unique. 2020 is a terrific vintage and a rare opportunity to lay away one of the greats. It is rich in black cherry, boysenberry, licorice, and chalky mineral and is highly approachable even when young but ages effortlessly. Remarkably consistent year after year, this wine is one you can always count on.
