Meyer Rosé 2021

Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe pinot for this deeper-hued rosé comes off their estate McLean Creek Road vineyard in Okanagan Falls, plus Lakehill Rd. in Kaleden, as well as from select growers throughout the Okanagan. After 12 hours of skin contact, this moved to stainless and older French oak barrels for partial native fermentation, full MLF, and a four months' rest on lees. More serious and savoury, with dark cherry, plum yogurt, smoked stone across a juicy, spiced, dry palate, lingering with subtle salinity. Crack into this now with duck and / or wild mushroom salad.Tasted: 09 May 2022Tasted by: Treve RingPrices: BC 20.00 winery direct Producer: Meyer Family VineyardsDistributors: Olivier Brands
