Meyer Rosé 2022
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaIn 2022 the Meyer Rosé blends grapes from the estate McLean Creek Road in Okanagan Falls, Lakehill Road in Kaleden, and Fat Coyote Vineyard in Naramata. I’m not a fan of the dark pink colour but to each his own. It gets 12 hours of skin contact before it goes to the tank and older French barrels for four months of lees contact. The style is ripe and round, with sweet red fruit wrapped in spicy, green, herbal notes.
