Domaine Drouhin Pinot Noir 2019

Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley, Oregon, United StatesFirst produced by the Drouhin family in 1988, this cuvée remains entirely estate. Destemmed fruit is fermented long, before resting in French wood for a year. Perfumed and silky, with caressing layers of wild raspberry, cherry, wild plum, and pipe tobacco, seasoned with finely rasped pink peppercorns. Tannins are long and seamless, and acidity is lifted, carrying this to a saline finish. Very polished and approachable now, yet with years to come.
