Domaine Drouhin Pinot Noir 2009
Willamette Valley, Oregon, United StatesOpen fresh red fruit nose with dusty strawberry, sour cherry and spicy tobacco leaf with bits of barnyard. The attack is round and elegant with more strawberry, pepper, compost and carrot top flavours. The usual finesse of France with the density and texture of Oregon. Ready to sip now but it will improve through 2014 in the bottle.Tasted: 05 September 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $26.00 | 375ml | speculative listing - Pacific Wine and Spirits |
