Domaine Drouhin Pinot Noir 2001

Willamette Valley, Oregon, United StatesSweaty saddle, minty, stewed veggie, smoky vanilla aromas with some black cherry. Rich, round, chunky entry but some elegance with light tannins. Nice black cherry, orange, rhubarb, minty, smoky vanilla, mineral, barnyard compost flavours. Much better in the mouth with good fruit and balance but the nose is poor. Overpriced for what you get.Tasted: 10 March 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
